Canadian soprano Brittany King is a versatile and acclaimed soloist in oratorio, opera, and concert work across the UK and Canada. She has performed at prominent cathedrals including St Paul’s Cathedral, York Minster, Salisbury, Worcester, Coventry, and Gloucester Cathedral.
Recent highlights of her latest season include Mozart’s Requiem at Hexham Abbey Music Festival, Tilford Bach Festival, Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, Bach’s St John Passion, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Fauré’s Requiem and Mozart’s Solemn Vespers at Worcester Cathedral.
Other engagements include Fauré’s Requiem and Haydn’s Requiem in C at York Minster, Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiemat Salisbury Cathedral, and the premiere of Voyage to America with the English Symphony Orchestra.
Equally at home in opera, she debuted with Toronto Operetta Theatre as Pitti-Sing in The Mikado, and has sung Blanche, Sister Genovieffa, and Despina in Canada, along with Orff’s Carmina Burana.
